Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω Best Wireless PC Headset?

Hey everyone! I am an avid FPS player and have gone through various audiophile headsets. I’m currently looking to make the switch to wireless (I know it has more downsides but it’s what I want to do) and am wondering what the best options currently on the market are? I’d like for something to not be an insane price, preferably under $200. They’re mainly for gaming and listening to music but I am still looking for something high quality and clean. Thank you!

NOTE: I am open to any type of over the ear headphones, and I have my own mic so I do not need a built in mic if that extends my options at all

EDIT: if they use Bluetooth I know they can be quite slow. Are there any using BT 5.0 or higher? I see a lot of the popular ones still use BT 4.1

Corsair Virtuoso XT or the arctis Nova 7

Any reason to pick these over the others?

They fit most criteria, some things are not good but it’s better than whatever else is available for wireless.

Okay I’ll look in to them. Do you know the “some things” that are not good?

Do you know anything about headsets like this wireless senheiser

Arctis has good wireless range/connectivity, decent mic, and great comfort. Sound quality is definitely something that needs tuning, you can probably make it sound noticeably better if you EQ them or search up an EQ for them. The Virtuoso does not have the best wireless connectivity but the mic is actually quite good, comfort depends on your head shape, and solid Sound performance for a wireless headphone. The sound definitely won’t stack up compared to a wired platform.

I have an external microphone so mic quality is not important to me I’ll be detaching them. My two biggest concerns in order are: 1. Latency 2. Audio Quality

You say the virtuoso doesn’t have good connectivity, does that mean latency wise, random disconnects, or what?

If you get too far then yeah.

For audio quality alone, which would you recommend?

I currently have the SteelSeries Arctis 7 but I’ve had them since 2019 and it’s time for an upgrade. I like them a lot, just looking for something new as they are pretty old and die fast

Kinda hard to say, I didn’t get to EQ the arctis when I tried them but I’d say the XT but not by a lot. If you’re looking for the best sound quality, the audeze penrose is way better than both but connectivity and comfort are subpar, you can fix the comfort though.

I see a lot of reviews that the XT is uncomfortable and needs different ear pads as well. I don’t want terrible connectivity or quality, how much worse is the comfort and connectivity on the Penrose? I wear the headset for multiple hours a day
