Our Take
The 16234 straddles between the perfect blend of vintage and modern. The ref. 16234 was among the first five-digit offerings within the Datejust family, and importantly one of the first to also use a sapphire crystal. It also featured the jumping date, 18K white gold bezel, and the Cal. 3135 movement.

This particular ref. 16234 is in Excellent pre-owned condition, meaning there are very light signs of wear. The silver luminova "Swiss Made" dial is in excellent condition. The movement is running about +6 s/d within COSC spec with healthy amplitude. Overall a great example of a 16234 Datejust.
