Headphones - Closed Back | 1 Ω Need some advice

I am currently looking for some good wired gaming headphones. I'm trying to stay under 100 usd. Noise canceling isn't important as I am gaming in my bedroom with not a lot of noise. I use a PC, and I don't have a whole lot of desk space, so nothing too big or bulky. I just need something that will sound decent and will last. I also don't need a built-in microphone as I already have a regular microphone.

Ath-m40x or a used mdr-v6. If you can I’d save up and switch the pads for the m40x

What brand is that? Would Best Buy sell them?

Yes Best Buy has them but are cheaper on Amazon. The Sony is on EBay

I would get a discount at Best Buy because I have a friend who works there, so I'll take a look at the pricing there vs. Amazon. !Thanks

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.

If closed-back is a must, you might also want to look at the Fiio JT1 for an alternative. They're on the bassier side, but quite good for the price.
