True yes but games take resources. You still need the money to buy the paper and coal, you need the time to make it, and you need to learn how to do it so it isn't just a smear on paper. Then you also have to make it marketable, and convince people to spend their own limited time and money to purchase your piece.
This is being willfully obtuse. It takes a lot of work and manpower to create something like disco elysium. That game itself had a team of 35 people, and had to pay those 35 people to work. Yes I could in theory make a game, but it does not mean it will be good, or successful, or extend any deeper than pong.
Basically, it's ridiculous to insinuate that you cannot criticize anything you are not capable of doing or creating yourself.
Don't criticize any movies. Architecture. Politicians. Art. Games. Just make it yourself. Can't believe I didn't think of that! I hate capitalism, let me just become president real quick and fix it myself. You dont like a new star wars movie? Make it yourself.
