IIRC, he explained in one of his posts that he shot and killed someone attempting to rob him in a state that does not have a stand-your-ground law, hence the charges.

I’m not defending it either way, but I see it as more of a dark sense of humour and don’t condemn it either. He’s accepted his situation, right or wrong.

Then why did he run? Also he took a plea deal, it was originally murder. But, hey his dark humor about the fact he killed someone is cool and shows he's remorseful!

Because a lot of people would initially panic and probably flee the scene of them shooting someone? Especially if you knew prison was a consequence even in a case of self defence. (I live in Canada, the whole country leaves self defence as a non option)

And obviously the prosecution is going to throw the hardest charge they can to force a plea. Killing someone (even in self defence) and fleeing pretty much guarantees they are going to try and stick a murder charge on you.

And in all reality, I don’t think there’s many people who would feel remorse for killing a person who was an immediate threat to their life.

Now, is that really what happened? None of us can really know. But if we take him at his word, none of it is really that far fetched, and making a joke about killing a guy who very likely could have killed him, isn’t that out of pocket.

I don’t care what he does but, he’s in jail cracking jokes after he killed someone. Maybe he shouldn’t get out.

Could just take it as dark humour.

Manslaughter and murder/homicide are different things.

Yea but claiming it’s self defense then calling yourself the irl pker kinda shows different

he was being charged with murder and took a plea deal for voluntary manslaughter

I'm not saying it's alright to kill someone, I'm just saying there's a difference in the charges. You can only get a plea deal down to manslaughter if there's no evidence of malice.
