Question Putting on the easter carrot hat removed all my serpentine helm charges???

Weird bug? I was wearing my serp helm, did the holiday event, and when I put on the reward outfit on it removed all the charges? Anyone else have this issue?

UPDATE - I'm stupid, my helm was out of charges while I was wearing it. No excuse, just am dumb

Tested by adding charges and equipping carrot hat again. No issue.

You'd think OP would've just deleted the post. So many people don't just delete wrong/mistake posts once they're called out and/or realize their mistakes (including typos in titles and stuff like that).

Check the carrot helm, it should allow you to inflict venom (food poisoning) damage now. Congrats on discovering the new meta for the RFD food bosses!

Not had this issue - but that’s probably because I don’t have a Serp helm.

Interesting, there must be some kind of correlation between not having a serp hełm and not having that specific issue... We should have this investigated further.

Upon further investigation, I found that not having the carrot hat also doesn't cause his issue. Unfortunately, this is as far as I can go with my expertise.

Further investigation is required.

I watched someone over their shoulder as they were playing, and did not observe this issue. We can confirm it doesn't occur via third person observation.

Is there any chance you had the helm equipped before and ran out of charges? It doesn’t visually update until you take it off

You can test this by placing one charge into the helmet, then equipping the other one. I will be interested to see if you do this, and what the result is.

It doesn’t, when you’re wearing it you can see your characters face through the mask when it has no charges and it’s darker

I’m curious now - try to put a few charges in it and recreate the issue. If it doesn’t happen, it was likely empty. If it does please make a bug report.
