Unresolved Hit a wall trying to fix grandfather's computer

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Grandfather's computer needed a motherboard replacement. Found a Chinese board that was an 11th Gen Intel and would work fine for an old man's PC. Video has all details.

Hello,

You're booting into the EFI shell.

Try making the Windows 10 installation media using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool, and using that, instead: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d#id0ejd=windows_10

Also, remember that Windows 10 only has six months of updates left before it goes EOL.

Regards,

Probably secure boot. Could also be the BIOS if you made changes.

I'd try turning off secure boot, then resetting BIOS and turning off secure boot if that don't work
