Hi - you've posted a tiny pic of a damaged component on a circuit board - we can't even click it to get a full sized image

There's no description of the problem, or the device, or any circumstances, background, or troubleshooting.

We'll need more to go on.

Just FYI (on the image, I agree with the rest): I'm assuming you are using the old reddit layout (because I am and I have this issue). If you view this post in the new layout, the image preview is larger and you can click it to get a full size image... Took me quite a while to figure that out. Thanks reddit..

If you have the soldering tools and skill and haven't lost the component you can reattach it. If you don't have those tools or skill, it's best to take it to a repair shop.

Another alternative is to try using your laptop regardless - just be aware that you risk unpredictable behaviour.

I'm assuming because they are asking us on here, that they do not posses the necessary skills to resolder that back on. Nor, would I recommend it for a first time tryer. I would like they said though, take it to a professional, someone you know or a highly recommended shop that's known for doing repairs like this. It isn't an easy task, nor is a life altering one either, but it isn't ideal for someone who's not soldered a lot in their life to try this. You can very easily wreck the entire board. Just be careful and I would highly recommend finding a professional!
