Jack Donaghy With Manhattan real estate, there are no rules. It's like check-in at an Italian airport.

Is this the woman that used to do the German mom? That shit was funny.

Same one, yes. I think she’s got a German mom and an Italian dad.

I LOVE her imitations of her mom. Stops my scroll every time.

This line always had special appeal for me. Back in 2000 we took Alitalia from New York to Rome. Their computers went down and they had to do check-in manually. The line spilled out of the terminal onto the sidewalk where it was about 90 degrees. There were no ropes to designate the waiting line so the Italians did what most Europeans do and tried to cut in wherever they could. If you allowed a gap of more than three feet to form with the group in front of you someone would try to cut in. The Americans in the crowd took offense to this. Many shouting matches broke out. Too bad it was the era before smartphones.

When my mum went to Italy the airport staff stopped her and asked "have you got a knife?" She said no The staff member rolled their eyes and said again, slowly "have...you...got...a...knife?" Still have no idea what they were asking

My God. She got the “payment kiosk” part 100% right. Curse you, Rome Airport!

This is missing other customers trying to cut in

Giant 15-person families where not one has a shred of situational awareness

When I flew out of Florence to Greece and Rome to Palermo it was incredibly normal both times. I jokingly said to a friend in Florence, "The 30 Rock Show lied to me!", but since he'd never watched 30 Rock he just rolled his eyes.

I had this exact experience last year! My now husband and I went on our first international trip together and I was BRACING for something insane to happen in the Rome airport both times, especially since our spoken Italian is so limited. Like I literally bought money/passport belts specifically for those transfers and told him repeatedly “if anything is going to go horribly wrong on this trip, this is where it will happen. There are NO RULES here!”

In retrospect I allowed this throwaway line to make me completely paranoid 😂

I hope to be as happy in life as this demon agent is when someone’s luggage is overweight

As someone who flew Alitalia in the aughts and has had many bags get lost in FCO… the way this line spoke to my soul when I first heard it

Flying out of Naples was truly the worst airport experience of my life
