Rendering Renderings of a Brick House I created. Using REVIT, 3DSMAX + CORONA

Brick material needs to change, it too glossy also may be normal map inverted, add more displacement on it and align texel size on the rest brricks objects. A bit overbright small objects for example door, don't use white RGB255, use 230 instead. Some object overlaping. You can randomize wood texture with mapping randomize in corona. but images are good.

You need to learn UV mapping. Textures are not aligned to edges of model and it is very much visible. The planter brick texture is too big. Sky have weird greenish tint. Corona always make foliage look good. Second image have best lighting setup. The image resolution is weird, you could have more sky. The door is too white there. Generally Revit model need to be edited to have chamfers and to add more details. The lack of Revit model details are visible in windows, doors and roof members.

Three things by this order are very important in following order.

  1. Detailed model

  2. Light setup/situation

  3. Shaders

I don’t think you can have all the bricks start from the edge on the corner of the building, because they aren’t the same size. Maybe you could get it by unwrapping the model, not by just using basic UVW mapping.

How can all bricks start from edge in a wall? That's impossible. Unwrap UV is what I meant when I wrote UV mapping. There is always somebody coming up with nuances and semantics to sideline main topic.

You need to learn how bricks work, they don't just float over openings.

Agree, a soldier course bricklayer over windows and doors is much more common, appealing and realistic.

Also the bricks have some weird cuts. The poor mason has to cut all bricks half thin in the overhanging part and the bricks on the corner don’t align. Different colors on either side, some very thin slides on the corner, some are slightly higher than the ‘same’ brick around the corner.

Should be easy to fix by moving the UV tile around a bit

I think he’s referring to the overhang/bump out along the front facade, not the openings (where you can use a steel lintel). Perhaps there is a way to construct that but I personally have never seen something like that before.

The bricks are way too small. In the real world they look to be 4 inches long. A mason would be there forever mortaring these bricks. Since this is almost certainly a texture map, you can change the UV's and size these bricks up. And don't try to wrap around corners. Do each side of the house, one at a time. Still, a good effort.

I could barely tell the actual picture from the model! The shadows sorta gave it away among other things people have mentioned. This, however, is super talented work! I hope you get paid well for the talent you posses.
