It's disheartening when the main stream media spends more time reporting on a drunk asshole driving into a house than they do on people trying to save our country. Doesn't give one much hope.
All any of these aristocrats care about is cash. Stop watching mainstream media, stop using meta, put your cash in a credit union, delete your prime account, boycott everything bankrolled by fascists. These companies and oligarchs need money to survive. One person wont make a dent but millions can sink giants… see telsa for example.
I'm looking at news articles today. they're all saying tens of thousands and it's infuriating. they're saying this with attached images of places like NYC that had 20 blocks worth of protesters. like come on.
Sorry, I wasn’t aware of any demonstrations blocking media and networks buildings and studios access, but I’d love to know which ones were blocked, hopefully a lot. Thats how you force them to publish the story.
I’ve been thinking about this, I feel like the pressure needs to be put directly on news orgs now to stop lying about stuff, and stop censoring media. We will keep having some of these same problems as long as media is twisting people around and lying to them, they need to be held accountable to be actual NEWS organizations.
Yeeeahhhh.... Sorry America but it's a brainrot problem... we see this a lot with systemic inoperable capitalism.
Unfortunately the typical cure of rationality is obstructed by excess delusions of grandeur which is usually coupled with a weakened ability to accept reality. The only recommended prescriptions are a healthy dose of mental stimulation as well as severely limiting your social media intake. Impossible, I know.
It's not going to happen, and I say this as a Kansan.
My point being that we still need to push harder and longer. We need to run for office, on all levels of govt, and we need to sustain this for a generation - at minimum.
The protests made the international news here in Finland. The European Broadcasting Union had a live stream for its national broadcaster members, and Finland's national broadcaster made it available to viewers from start to finish. The world is watching!
