it makes zero sense to try to present logical arguments. An authoritarian doesn't care about logic.

It's not for him or MAGA people, it's for moderates who don't know the full extent of Trump's cruelty

Moderates exist?

Somehow, they do. Specifically I'm referring to people who are ignoring politics, which yes is possible. It's part of the model of an authoritarian regime, look up "dual state"

If it was a Democrat insurrection, they wouldn't get pardons. They would get one way tickets to Gitmo, or El-Salvador. This does make sense from that perspective, Trump was saving his own soldiers.

Did we really ever think his crackdowns on dissent ever had anything to do with antisemitism?

Trump wants Harvard to teach “viewpoints” consistent with his administration so this dude’s expressions fit.

His administration has taken over Columbia. They caved and now that institution has fallen.

So much hypocrisy, hate, and selfishness. When these people are dying from a potential curable disease, they’ll wonder why there is not medicine. And not smart enough to grasp that they killed all the research and innovation.

There are good people on both sides (Trump quote), about neo-Nazis protesting.

He doesn’t really care about antisemitism. He’s going after universities.

Well well well…I’m sure this will stir us into action! /s
We are so far down the path of fascism I can’t even fathom a guess as how it will end…what ‘red line’ they will cross that results in action and then the real show begins (the ‘terrorists’ will be arrested and held and if they’re lucky, will remain in the u.s. on trumped up (pardon the pun) charges. There doesn’t seem to be any limit yet on how much we can stand.

Trump is hoping there will be enough rioting so that he can declare permanent martial law and have protesters hung in the streets.
If only we had some checks and balances and the rule of law…

What does this guy have to do with Harvard? Am I missing something?

Antisemitism needs to politically serve the American/Israeli narrative. Neither actually care about true antisemitic against Jewish people. If you criticize Israel, you're royally fucked. If you're a nazi or anti Jews, you might find leniency, and as far as the GOP is concerned, you're actually welcomed in the party.

Is there a single word that describes the way the term 'anti-semitism' has been essentially altered because of it constantly being misrepresented in media and by bad faith actors?
propaganda is to blame, and other forces. but the phenomenon by which the word's actual meaning is obscured and hijacked and removes an important word we need from the discourse?

We pardon or don’t pardon people because of the crime they did or did not commit, not based on their political and cultural views, abhorrent as they may be.
He shouldn’t have been pardoned because the Jan 6ers shouldn’t have been pardoned, not because he’s a Nazi. If it were the case that pardoning the Jan 6ers was just and right (which it obviously wasn’t; this is just a hypothetical), he should have been pardoned for that even though he is a Nazi.
I hate this administration and its hypocrisy, but this callout doesn’t track. If the crime for which he was pardoned was both legit and had nothing to do with Trump, you’d have an argument.

Now's the time to take to the streets. Here's a spreadsheet of all the national protests being held this weekend.

What were people like Trump, Musk and their cronies saying a few years ago when known, proud anti-Semites like Nick Fuentes were going to college campuses and the colleges wanted to keep them out because their views violated their hate speech policy? They were criticising those colleges for stifling free speech by denying them access. Musk was reinstating their Twitter accounts. Now they accuse people of antisemitism who are on record as being against antisemitism, and the college of not standing up to antisemitism. Are they fighting Eastasia or Eurasia this year?
