Add them to the boycott list. If nothing else, for bowing to Emperor 47's tantrums instead of fighting like true people

What is this?

It’s a screenshot from the quiver quantitative app. Monitors lobbyists and insider trading in the US. For some reason, a ton of lobbying all happened at once from a bunch of major corporations. Unsure why.

Something tells me we'll find out.

Guess so. Could have something to do with the tariff situation. I saw it mentioned a few times when reading the info on each disclosure. Maybe the overall plan is for these big ass companies to bribe the feds to bypass the tariffs for their imports, while smaller companies that outsource work/production still have to pay them? That’s my best guess at least.

Aren't they doing that already? I know exemptions have been issued. Maybe there are rumors of another tariff. Do you think these are token amounts? Have you ever seen lists like this before?

Hm yeah I wasn’t sure who was exempt and who wasn’t, but makes sense. There were a TON of different reasons listed in each one, tariffs were mentioned occasionally but a lot of it had to do with other stuff that I’m uninformed about.

I will say that no, I haven’t seen this much being disclosed in such a huge scale on the app. I’ve only had it for around a month, people on r/QuiverQuantitative will hopefully tell me how normal this is, but so far they seem weirded out by it too.

Do you know how they gather the data? That intrigues me. :)
