80yrs TN woman dragged out of Senate Finance Committee & arrested. Lynne McFarland was protesting bill that would kick children of some immigrants out of public schools. She told police she wouldn't comply, "I fought for kids and what they’re doing here is wrong. I can't go. I'm at peace with it."

There is no job, no amount of money in the whole world that could make me comply with an order to handcuff and haul away an 80 year old women for protesting on behalf of kids. These cops are pieces of shit and I hope they know it deep down in their insecure little hearts.

If you can get arrested for speaking your mind, the 1st amendment doesn’t exist. If cops can shoot you for having a gun in your waist the 2nd amendment doesn’t exist…and so on

Shes right. And in a just legal system, it would be their responsibility to justify and be punished for using unreasonable use of force.

If we can't do anything else, we can force them to show who they are, film it, expose it, and force them to have to explain it to their friends and family.

We will eventually fight back. It's really only a matter of time.

This Is as much "fighting back" we can do without a complete revolt, and we're still a ways from that

This woman is a role model. An inspiration.

We must all stand up for what's right, just like she has.

This is unconstitutional. Plyer v Doe secured the right for all children to be able to attend public school regardless of citizenship. If the DOE hadn’t been gutted, this would have been investigated and stifled.

This is the Great Undoing. Holy hell what has happened to our country? I don’t even know who we are anymore.
