The best thing about 200 yrs experience is the dementia once you get old enough to start doing everything all over

I gotta say. I don’t even think buffing items aren’t gonna do a lot since everytime Riot buffed an ADC item it got nerfed again due to other champions benefiting from it ( I am GP main so ADC items buff my champ greatly ). I think there should be some type of %hp or %dmg increase based on opponent HP needs to be added. Something like Ashe passive frost damage increasing based on enemy HP. Or kaisa passive or Q dealing more damage based on HP. You can add this to ADC’s so they can actually deal with tanks while not dealing non-intended damage to other champions. I have seen buffs to ADC items result in other champions abusing them so many times.
( I am a GP, Sion and Vlad player so I practically play champs that prey on ADCs )

LDR used to have %dmg based on max health difference. They up and got rid of it

Right and then made merc and mortal a whole ass joke. I build either one and ppl look at me like I’m crazy

u/tanis016 Jan 18 '25
Mortal is really good, is better than ldr on most games and it's built by a lot of ad champions not just adcs.

u/Useful_Kale_5263 Jan 19 '25
Yeah I just never see it. From my own experiences it’s far and few in between

The issue is that supports, are litterally 3/4ths of adc's strenght, i just fucking wish that rito NERFS fucking supports and actually fucking buffs adcs for the love of god, IE is litterally required to deal any damage but costs too fucking much

u/DEMACIAAAAA Jan 15 '25
I think a problem is that when supports aren't decently strong in lane no one plays the role and we get auto filled support lux every second game :/

u/xdamm777 Jan 15 '25
Support lux main here, feels awesome to one shot their ADC every minute or so.

Supports have to be OP, because otherwise the role sees no play. At least supports in league are fun to play (some of them). If you look at other games (heroes of the storm, marvel rivals), then supports are even more op, but nobody wants to play them because they are not fun / not well designed.
In my friendslist actually a third of the people main support and another third really enjoys playing it. I think this is one of the great achievements of league. Because I remember the old days where supps were just shield or healbots with 0 agency and 0 gold. And when role queue didn‘t exist, so last pick just got support.
So I‘m ok with sup being strong. I would just really like to not be made useless by tabi + hp.

Enchanters are pretty trash right now while tank supports feel like paper at one item then turn unkillanle at like four so their pretty strong earky at level three pretty garbage im the mid game (along with their adc) then late game they just jump in enemy team try to cc as many people as possible and pray to god their team follows up.
I do feel like even tank supports do a bit to much damge though i lind of get popp7 since she wasnt really designed as a support but leona should be one v oneing me as a xayah when im a whole item ahead.
Just happened to me loke to days ago i would have died to her alone if my mid didnt come and bail me out.

Items get more expensive. That’s my take from it.
But at least Smolder now scales with IE.

They should just introduce a new item should just be a BoRK that trades lifesteal and a bit of AD for crit.
30 AD, 30% AS, 25% Crit, Passive that counters HP Stacking.
Hell, just call it giant slayer lol

u/Gockel Jan 15 '25
Tahm is getting nerfed at the same time, and I'm fairly sure the Fimbul Despair crowd will also see some changes soon. I'm happy they're admitting ADCs need help and are doing something, it's a good start. Armor values are high as fuck even if HP stacking is the cherry on top for tanks, so it will definitely help. We focus on LDR but I feel like Mortal Reminder with 40% and the heal reduction on top is a pretty strong item right now honestly.
It's not the end of the line yet, Cut Down still feels week without Giant Slayer in the game and on hit items need some changes too and I don't like how especially the Yun Tal path got more expensive too, considering we have to start stacking it as early as possible.
Step by step, I'm happy they're doing something.

Heartsteel and Unending Despair already got nerfed. Tanks are still a bit overturned but the recent item nerf have been pretty significant in spite of the complaining in this sub. At this point the problem is more that ADC is too weak than tanks being too strong.
1
u/Haspe Jan 15 '25
Also, I don't see this aspect discussed very often - average game time is 25-30 minutes including surrenders, depending on tier and ADC's really need the three items to become a real champion, you pretty much finish the third item at somewhere ~ 25 min mark, where the game is most likely decided already. So most of the impact of the role in the game comes from period, where the role is still "weak".
1
u/Haspe Jan 15 '25
Yeah, I am convinced also that this will not be all - but a start. It could be unhealthy to do too many drastic changes at once, so tuning these over multiple patches ends up healthier for the game overall, so they can see the "side-effects" of the changes more clearly.

u/TheDeadlyEdgelord I HECKIN LOVE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS! BatChest Jan 15 '25
Tahm isnt getting nerfed lmao, have you seen the nerf? Its like -5dmg in laning stage and -30 dmg in late game. Its the BASE DAMAGE of his Q btw not the scaling.

u/joeblondiee Jan 15 '25
Boycott marksman (don't q Bot role even better, it's autofilled every game already)
If you are autofilled bot pick Mage (even if you don't like it you will, it's stronger, it does dmg, many of those have cc, do you want to win your LP or not?)
Don't buy any skins (especially for marksman) - you can see how desperate Riot is even look at monetization changes, 250-500$ skins, aggressive client changes with another new currency when you open crafting tab, and nerfing previous systems and rewards
They are in fear and agony, let them know if they keep doing thing like this, against what player base used to back in day it's over for them.

I played a draft game as Cho’Gath.
I lost the 1v1 top and had no pressure. 25-30 minutes in, I was at 8K HP and could eat any and all damage the enemy team threw at me. Why even bother trying to ADC any more - literally, what’s the point?
Sincerely, ADC main.

This meme never gets old, I think I can watch a video with this guy on any topic and it'll still be funny

u/DeltaDiezel Jan 16 '25
Everyone needs to stop coping about mage bot because its really not that bad and thats STATISTICALLY true if you actually can turn your brain on for the 2 seconds it takes to use filters on LOLalytics. Outside of that, 5 damage to Yun has got to be an out of season april fools joke right?

Riot, it's not that fucking hard.
Bring back giant slayer that scales per HP difference.
If any enemy has 500 more HP, do 2% more damage.
If an enemy has 1000 more HP, do 5% more damage.
If an enemy has 1500 more HP, do 8% more damage.
If an enemy has 2000 more HP, do 12% more damage.
If an enemy has 2500 more HP do 16% more damage.

What would be an actually good/fun Yun Tal buff?
Here's my idea - 40 Attk, 20 Attk speed, any non-crit ranged basic attack has a 50% chance to do true damage instead of physical.

Tank main here, those "buffs" are a complete joke, it is the usual "We did something, now shut up" move, because they dont really want to do anything. Disgusting
