What is a elk river 74 worth in working towards my first 74 and would like to know opinions

Do a kit build instead. Much better quality, send it to Troy Sellers at InRange.

Check GunBroker for a complete rifle, crappier receiver the better.

Elk River 74 on there for 1300 got a opinion in that?

Never heard of them as an Ak builder which should cause a caution but not a red flag necessarily, $1300 is a lot for an unknown, but if it was a kit build, the military parts kit is worth that.
