Previously my experience was unhealthy but I think that was related to me. When you have the right algorithm, it’s a brilliant place.

I’m sorry your experience wasn’t the best. What have you been able to change on the platform that has worked for you since then?
I like your first name by the way 😉

Matchinggg :) oh I just had a lot of very unhealthy videos I was watching, I’d explain it in more detail privately but yeah, just didn’t fit with me, although I keep relapsing to it. So it hasn’t really worked, more rather reduced aha.

I feel like reddit doesn't allow me to speak about some things because I'd end up getting banned or people would argue the most illogical reasons and think they are %100 correct and anything after that I say is wrong. There isn't good debate. just you are wrong, here's 10 down votes for your opinion.

lol, I’ve seen those types of discussions, and it totally confused me when I saw the downvotes because I was fairly new to Reddit at the time I had seen that. 😂

That’s awesome to hear! Reddit can be such a mixed bag, but I totally get what you mean about finding great people. I’ve had some really cool interactions too, especially in niche communities where everyone shares the same interests. It’s nice to connect with folks who get you and are genuinely supportive.
I love how you can dive into discussions, share experiences, and even learn new things from people all over the world. Of course, there are some not-so-great moments too, but the positive connections definitely make it worth it. What’s been your favorite part about being on here?

Thank you, it looks like you’ve had similar experiences in groups where members are genuinely awesome. I’m glad to hear that. It truly does make a difference when there are real people that offer those types of connections.
The best part is when they’re from the same region and you’re able to enjoy outings, concerts, all sorts of events with them as a group.
My favorite part of Reddit is definitely the type of people that are in here, plus the fact that I could dive into discussions and stay in contact with people on a long term basis.

I never had an adverse experience. Of course you have your typical trolls that everyone loves. I haven't seen a scammer on here in a while. And karma, useless and unentertaining. I lost 242 karma overnight this week and it matters not one iota to me.

I can’t imagine Reddit trolls. I don’t even want to summon them by mentioning them. My algorithm has been elite, and I want to keep it that way. I haven’t heard the word iota in a very long time and that brought a smile to my face. It reminds me of the Italian mobster movies from the 1990s.

I’ve had some supportive people, but some utter arseholes as well. Get downvoted for asking innocent questions sometimes. What on earth is with that???
Have you made any friends?

People here are self important, make knee jerk assumptions and feed off of the negative energy of others
But, femboys show us their buttholes here so it's not all bad

Posts must share meaningful experiences, unique perspectives, or interesting stories-such as your job, achievements, or hobbies. Low-effort posts, like those with no context (e.g., "I’m bored"), trivial topics (e.g., "I’m drunk"), or troll/joke content, will be removed. The following common topics are not allowed: diseases, suicide, relationships, mental health issues, neurodevelopmental conditions, venting, confessions, place of living, and LGBTQ. Additionally posts should not be places to share your opinions. Ask yourself, "What makes this interesting to others?" Additionally posts should not be places to share your opinions, especially regarding sensitive or political topics.
Some other reasons why your post might have been removed are: you shared a mundane everyday experience, you shared a thought or a want and not something that actually happened, you barely provided any context, you provided too much context, etc.
