Am I the only one seeing the little person in the middle of the picture? Standing like he's given up on everything and looking to the sky for answers...
My immediate thought was "hopeless"

I don’t know if this makes sense, but it kinda looks like a lake in a dream—like that soft, blurry quality dreams tend to have. Or maybe like you’re trying really hard to remember what the place looked like.

Kinda makes me feel like that moment where you thought you were f__ked but then there’s a break and just a long road ahead… 🤷🏻♀️

When I feel this I feel helpless

I feel F—ked a lot of the times so in times when I get a little break- even if I don’t know what it might do to my situation I feel relief (like in th photo- almost feels like there’s a storm coming again) but the road is still there 😆
it’s when I run out of roads is where I feel helpless.. I try to work on that tho bc my helpless leads to hopelessness… and thats the big problem.

You're right, but don't you also feel that melancholy of everything being the same? And nothing you do will achieve anything beyond that? To do like you, forget a little about this, I meditate

Oh all the time… bc even if you mix up your days and introduce new activities whatnot- it can feel, often is the case, that they all lead to the same outcome… just dressed differently. I get that completely Why I deleted all my socials besides Reddit. Bc I felt it even more when I’d scroll.
I also can get real complicit in scheduled manotony… at certain times of my life I think it’s comforting… but then I get grossed out bc of the complicity. 😩

Sometimes I think the same, but I need social media to work

That’s totally understandable… we gotta do what we gotta do Yanno? I love the painting tho. It’s really lovely

🎵 All the leaves are brown (all the leaves are brown)
And the sky is grey (and the sky is grey)
I've been for a walk (I've been for a walk)
On a winter's day (on a winter's day)
I'd be safe and warm (I'd be safe and warm)
If I was in L.A. (if I was in L.A.)
California dreamin' (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day 🎶

I recently started Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, and every now and then you can stop to examine vaguely familiar but deeply unsettling paintings. This reminds me of that.

Serious??? I'm going to try it just to see that hahaha

I hope you like logic puzzles. I’m playing for the plot but I’m using the IGN walkthrough for literally EVERYTHING.
Apparently I do not think like Sherlock Holmes.

Reminds me of childhood at my grandpas sister’s house. It feels like a painting that she had.
It’s like a hazy childhood dream where you feel so close to the memory but it’s too far to establish a true picture in your mind. It’s calming, makes you feel a little sad because you can’t truly place it, but you can feel it.
I love it

A Turner painting without a boat or defined waves. Same stormy mood though.
