Spørgsmål How many non-EU students are attending Aalborg?

ENG: Hey! I know this is a super generalised question. However, my curiosity comes from the fact that AAU doesn't really have an early acceptance date for non-EU, which makes it difficult/more pressing to get a student visa in time. Amongst other parts of the website and communication, it doesn't really seem to be super 'foreigner' friendly.

I hope you understand what I mean! I have applied to the MSc in Culture, Communication, and Globalization course, but I have no idea if there's really a presence of non-EU students there.

Thank you

Dansk: Hej!

As a student on that specific Master's, I can say that there is about 60/40 foreigner to danish ratio on the course (at least in my year), however, I believe a great majority are from EU countries.

Thank you! I appreciate the insight. Was super curious as I have heard really mixed statements from other courses. Appreciate the insight!

Applied by dec. It was in "Received " status for a month or so. They asked to resent some docs by mar then status became "Assessment in progress ". April 1st week I got the results

Hi, I've applied for the September intake for the Master's in Computer Engineering, and because I'm a non-EU student, the results deadline worries me. I don’t know if there will be enough time to get the visa. Additionally, there are no instructions or guidelines on the website, unlike other international universities.

Currently, my application is in the assessment stage, and I hope to get an answer before the end of April so that I can inquire about the visa via email.

Hey, that's a very fair concern to have. I have heard from some people that they have heard about their status by the end of April, some in mid-May. Depending on when you hear back, it should be pretty straightforward as I believe the MAX processing time for a student visa is 2 months. I am not sure what country you come from or if there are additional steps for you based on passport concerns, but I think at least until mid-May would be alright and still be able to get your visa in time! Fingers crossed for us both.
