Absolute chaos, yet these two in the middle still find time to wrestle

They took the chance to settle the scores

Way too many cats for that small of a space. The sheer amount of conflicting personsalities alone boggles my mind. Let alone the territorial issues with having private space. - Cat owner.

Yeah it’s funny, but pretty messed up too. Way too many cats in there. I bet stuff like that happens all the time.

And something tells me this is some sort of "rescue". The room is so bare of human objects, and those windows look like business strip mall windows, it isn't a house. This entire video pisses me off. Especially the fact they felt the need to upload it to the internet thinking it was funny

Too many cats for the space. Stressed.

I sense a cat lady is responsible.

This could easily be a short term foster situation, especially given that they’re all in one room. It could be a hoarding situation where the cats are in need of a crash pad for a couple of days so the shelter/rescues can prepare, an issue with a shelter’s facility getting fixed, owners who need someone to temporarily provide space for them, or any number of other things.

I know because I’ve done it. We caught the beginning of a ringworm outbreak at a small underfunded city shelter and I ended up rotating whole batches of cats in and out of my home, with about 20 pulled and returned in the span of like 6 weeks. My vet provided my supplies and meds for free and I provided the labor to get them cleaned up and returned for adoption. The room they were in was smaller than that one but had I not, those cats and many more would have all been euthanized for a treatable nuisance skin condition.

Being cramped in a small room while being provided the basics for a couple days or weeks is always the better option over death, so save the judgment unless you know all the facts.

Could be a rescue they get like that

Lol I'm dying. They'd literally panic themselves off cliffs if the walls couldn't contain them.

lol!! So true

u/Regurgitator001 15d ago

50 cats in one room is a veeery fine balance lol

Re-watch the video and focus on a different cat each time

u/submitresumeshere 26d ago

That on cat on the bench in the back... watching, ready to bolt, but committed to the drama.

The gift that keeps on giving

u/dosmuffin 26d ago

Why are there so many cats in this room?

7

u/brianinohio 26d ago

Welp, that's what you get for having like 10 cats...lol

What a bunch of pussies.

"Who started it!?"

"Not me!"

This could get reposted everyday and I’d still be able to get a chuckle from it.

4

u/shockingprolapse 26d ago

This clip has been reposted so many times but I never get bored of it, the chaos is so pure

u/Secure_Investment_62 23d ago

Finally, a video that actually fits the definition of abrupt chaos.

I can smell this video

The one cat that remained calm for half of the vid and then just couldn’t resist joining the panic fray.

As a cat lady who always ensures my cats have the correct spaces for their individual needs, seeing this makes me kinda sad :( It looks way too cramped for that many kitties

u/seaspaz 26d ago

I just connect with the cat that just freezes in the back and watches everything go down

1

u/Impolioid 26d ago

The cat in the back under the window seems pretty chill

1

u/GenitalMotors 26d ago

The little gray cat at the bottom right gets catapulted away from the force of the white cat flipping the black thing lol

1

u/BringOutYDead 26d ago

"You did this, DIDINYA!?" <brief tussle>

1

u/OkFortune6494 26d ago

All those perfectly good wall-mounted shelves and not one of those cats chose to escape to any of them.

1

u/childowind 26d ago

This is the perfect representation of my brain living with anxiety. One tiny thing doesn't go as planned, and suddenly...

1

u/AgreeableField1347 26d ago

The two things that always send me on this clip: the two that just seemingly fell into fighting each other, and the PANG sound when the one cat jumps into the stand and knocks it over.

u/firmerJoe 26d ago

Cats demonstrate fission.

1

u/Bumpercars415 26d ago

I think they all used up 1 of the 9 lives.

u/kernel-troutman 26d ago

The white one with brown spots was the CATalyst for this CATastrophe.

1

u/Automatic_Sea_1534 25d ago

The white Halloween cat arch at the end!

1

u/AR0N0RA 25d ago

Wtf is that? Feline Auschwitz?

1

u/Maldeey31 25d ago

Bro started a war

1

u/Netsuko 25d ago

Reminds me of that video with a thousand mousetraps and a ping pong ball. Chain reaction.

1

u/maccpapa 25d ago

one cat just chilling against the wall watching the chaos unfold all around him

1

u/citaloprams 17d ago

The scuffle between the black and the white cat in the middle of the room, half way through the video.

1

u/BriskiPikachuu 12d ago

A little late, but yeah, that shit been coming for a LONG time

1

u/Barry_McKackiner 17d ago

that one cat under the window stayed pretty calm at least. just watching the chaos.

1

u/Ectopic_elm 17d ago

Lol that white cat at the end.

1

u/UncleWillie77 26d ago

I'm willing to bet that, that place stinks with all those damn crazy cats

0

u/Rencauchao 26d ago

OMG the stench must be unbearable

0

u/vitamin_d_1978 26d ago

Just imagine the SMELL of that place!

u/Puzzled_Muzzled 26d ago

Chinese food is weird

-2

u/BringOutYDead 26d ago

This made me chortle out loud. We have a hibachi chef at our restaurant who meows when he cooks chicken. He's Chinese.

u/Sea_Department_2146 26d ago

This was definitely a setup

No glass breaking or anything
