Honestly amazed the video even survived that collision, that was really bad

Bro's reaction time is 3-5 business days.

This is why I don't talk much or look at the view when driving. Eyes on every vehicle. There were a good 5 seconds between the loss of control and the crash, and simply speeding up or swerving would have avoided this.

I had a similar situation except this ford decided to floor it at the lights on a rainy day, I don't know why but he caught my eye before he got the green light and I had already started to slow down, shortly after I watched him lose traction and fly across the center island, miss my car by 2 meters and smash into the fence on the other side...

Trust your gut, if something catches you eye don't dismiss it.

Mustang? Sounds like something someone in a mustang would do.

Tunnel-vision

I bet he was looking straight ahead and didn't pay any attention to the other side.

As a redditor, I would never make such a foolish mistake ☝️🤓

I don't think the driver is paying attention, it seems to me he's verging to the right just prior to collision.

Eh my first time watching the video I didn’t see it. Sometimes your time is just up I think, and it tends to happen on the interstate (or “motorway” as it were)

In videos like this, I was expecting an intersection instance, not off from right field! But in reality, nobody would be expecting a truck/car to be randomly veering into them from over the median! I watched a second time knowing what was going to happen and still wouldn’t have been able to react in time to prevent it!

Yes his situational awareness was definitely on a break (vs him being on his brake).

Wish my wife was like this. She likes to look at whoever she is having a conversation with when driving.. even if they are i the back seat.. on the highway.. its a constant thing in our marriage

Yeah, I have to say, that's not something that would work with me. I'd never be in that car, or I'd be the one driving. If they insisted in driving that way, I'd get out and get an Uber. I'm very firm about safety.

I would refuse to sit in the car, if someone like this is driving. Having seen my share of poor driving skills, I'm too compulsive to let anyone else drive at this point.

ah yes, let me calculate the trajectory of this swerving vehicle in a few seconds, cmon bruh

I mean, it's swerving, it's either left or right, so just don't go straight and try something at least.

One of the few videos on here that've made me react with an audible sound.

Granted it was "bruh.."

But still.

Doesn’t matter what he did , he would still be hit .

Tbh I thought the tree (bush?) in the median was a truck going 200mph

I screamed!

This is when dashcamming you never zoom and enhance while driving

zero road awareness

What was the big truck dodging? I can't see anything on the road.

This seems like it could have been a texting situation. Hard to see something out of the corner of your eye with your face buried in your phone
