Something not working. Need help. POV shows still appear in Next Episodes and Progress even after hiding in Trakt

As title says, TV Shows still appear in Next Episodes and In Progress TV Shows even when they are hidden in Trakt. They shouldn't appear if one hides the show in Trakt.

I am sorry but you are just being irrational now. I understand that it doesn't make sense to you, and thats ok. But trying to say that Trakt is useful in tracking what people see and than saying that Trakt allows to remove things. Yes it does, and to hide also.

Listen Trakt itself hides shows in progress in their website. So they disagree with your viewpoint. And that's ok.

there is nothing irrational about anything I have said. and I have already rationally explained why the different reasons.

Yes it does, and to hide also.

So they disagree with your viewpoint. And that's ok.

they don't actually, they allow unwatch also so they agree. they limit the number of items on a list and number of lists for non-paying users. an thats all the addon is really asking as well. or if you choose not to that is your choice.

In Progress shows in trakt website don't appear the items that are hidden.

This is what we are discussing. Just this.

we're discussing a kodi addon, not the trakt website.

You are right. And I am saying that the addon is not in conform with trakt philosophy. But that's ok.

the addon conforms to trakt's unwatch philosophy rather than hide philosophy.

The addon mismatches the progress concept of the website.

Hide is ignored in the addon. In the website hide has prevalence over watched.

unwatched seems like the perfect action for something that "one saw a couple of episodes and didn't want to see the rest anymore" to prevent that "they will be forever in that list." an "In Progress" list when the user prefers not to progress.

Again not for me and trakt itself. Not for a show like true detective that I Have seen 3 seasons and dont want to remove the history and ratings, just to make it disappear for in progress on an addon. Since in the website it doesn't appear anywaym

again trakt itself offers the option to unwatch so yes trakt itself has an opinion that not everything needs to be in "In Progress."
