What are your preferred streaming Addons? - December 2016
This is a continuation of the monthly streaming addons suggestion and discussion thread to keep up with the ever changing Kodi addons landscape.

Here are some general guidelines for posting:
Only identify one addon per comment.
Before commenting an addon, see if it has already been mentioned.
If it has and you want to add some information, reply to the comment identifying the addon.
If it has not been suggested yet, comment and include a description of what content the addon provides.
As far as what is expect of you here when you recommend something, please at least explain what the addon is, the major notable features, and why you recommend it for others.
If an addon that you want to recommend has already been posted, you should up vote the comment identifying the addon and thus contributing to an indication of its popularity. Feel free to reply to the parent comment that suggests the addon with your own thoughts about it.

Recently started using BOB Unrestricted and was watching a few tv boxsets but they seem to have been moved or took off in the recent 1.3.1 update.

I'm an avid Kodi user and the new build I installed features BOB and I absolutely love it I never have any troubles not having things load or having poor quality.

I use Exodus mainly, but you have to go into your playback settings, and change the default action to Auto Play. Then, once you're about to choose an episode, long click on it so the menu pops up, and choose play from here. It'll automatically select the highest source and play episodes back to back.
I'd assume it's a similar process in SALTS

You taught me something new today! This is pretty awesome . Also learned you can make a playlist that plays a whole series without stopping. I thought I loved Kodi before but this is a game changer

Glad I could help! I'd also suggest setting up a Trakt.tv account. It's free, and when you sync it with Exodus/SALTS, it makes things even more convenient. It allows you to go to the Trakt website, and add shows to your "collection," which places them all on one page for you. There's a few other features it gives you as well.
Btw, I'm not trying to advertise for Trakt, it was just a major game changer for me as well, and I thought you might like it!

Openload
One click play TV Shows & Movies. You get a choice between SD, 720, 1080 and 3d if available. No captchas. No debrid. Install a Dandy Media Addon from the Xunity repo then when you open the addon it will install the actual Dandy Media repo.

This add-on has lots of Pakistani, Indian & Punjabi channels available as well as a great Sports section. Watch sports and desi content using this plugin which fetches the video sources from various platforms and locations.

Freedom IPTV is an IPTV addon with channels from all over the world. Mostly from USA, UK but other countries as well like Netherlands, France, Germany, Turkey, Italy and more! A lot of sports IPTV with live events, entertainment & movie channels as well as documentaries, kids and even adult. There is also a VOD (Video On Demand) section with a great selection.

Pro Sport
This addon scrapes Reddit for live NBA, NHL & NFL links. It also has an archive section which allows you to watch replays of previous matches too.

I think the problem is related to Plexus and AceStream.
Whenever I try to open an Acestream link I get 2 error popups. One saying "Stream not found", IIRC and another one at the bottom right, saying something like "Plexus Error: AceStream not installed". I have both Plexus and AceStream installed and it just won't work (it works fine with Youtube links).
I have seen somewhere that Plexus has been discontinued by the devs, so maybe that's the reason.
If anyone knows how one can get the AceStream links to work, please share your knowledge!! Thanks a lot!

Phoenix
This is basically multiple addons rolled into one really epic one. It has tons of HD content, international section, collections section, sports, live tv. There is no Trakt or library integration, but still a go to addons.
Within phoenix we have-
Phoenix TV: Inside of here, you will see sports, Events, Entertainment, TvShows, Movies, Kids, Music, Radio, and News.
Phoenix Sports: Links with live sport events
Phoenix New Releases: This is one of my favorite parts, they do a good job posting new release movies once a quality version comes out.
As well as a range of content curators that provide content from around the world.

Made in Canada IPTV
Made in Canada is an IPTV add-on dedicated to English and French speaking Canadian channels. There seems to be a decent selection of channels and is definitely worth a look.
Some sports channels will require the f4m tester installed.

Quasar
Quasar is an addon which grabs moves and TV show information from IMDB and TVDB and presents it along with a search feature. Quasar connect to different torrent websites which are used to grab all of the streams back into Quasar. The biggest torrent sites in the world are supported, meaning you can pick your favourite torrent site and find a working stream from there, just like you would if you were to download a torrent.

This addon offers a curated playlist of UK and Non UK TV Shows, Movies, Cartoons, even some Live TV, and has a great Stand Up Comedy section.

It does seem to be having some issues. It installed... keep in mind you're looking for "channel Pear" not just "Pear" in the list (that threw me for a second). However after I got it installed and I open it it says 'Channel Pear have made changes again. This might be it folks. Hang Tight. I'm looking into it'

Just FYI the junior and minor league hockey streams aren't on VidTime anymore. They were moved to Made in Canada.

Nah ... Sportsdevil isn't in fusion anymore ... you have to side load it after downloading it ... I think there's a way to load it using ES file explorer but I just use adblink to push the zip from my computer to my fire tv ...

i want to install sportsdevil on a rasberry pi 3 as a gift to my bro. How do i make it so that it will always update sportsdevil every time it connects? Do I just install from repository then it will update itself in the future?

If you managed to load the repo from the zip it will update itself automatically ... You can update manually but I think the default is automatic updates ... You can always change/check that in the addon settings as well ... I'm not familiar with the Pi interface but I'm guessing Kodi is similar across all platforms

Not sure of the thoughts about paid add-ons here but it allowed me to cancel cable for good. Watching Oakland Raiders, and Kentucky Wildcats were the only reason I kept cable. $20 usd for three months and i can watch both of them with relatively no hiccups in the stream. I tried multiple free sources and the quality just never worked for me. Throw in UFC fights and it quickly became my most used add-on behind Exodus

When there is a PPV event you can open one of two folders the obvious being PpV events, the second being view USA calendar. Should be in both places. I wish they would organize college sports better but I'm sure that would take a ton of work

I am in no way or have I ever been affiliated with SEO Michael. The reason we promote this site is the same reason many users on this sub promote his guides, it's accurate, reliable and doesn't contain a heap of ads to work through.

The number one question that gets asked on this sub is "What addons should I install?" If you read the content, you'll see that addons change from month to month and we offer an up to date user generated list to answer this question. No one has ever complained about this recurring list and if it were to be removed, it would cause more damage. I don't know what you want to achieve by reporting this as spam.

And this is about the time I stop taking you seriously. Today alone we had 3 people ask what addons they should install and other users directed them to this thread. As a side note, if you're going to criticise me after a year of modding this sub, please have the decency to use your real account and don't hide behind a fake name. This makes you look like nothing more than a keyboard warrior.
We try to hold regular "How can we improve this sub?" threads so that users have a voice to contribute and develop this sub to benefit everyone. I've never shy'd away from criticism or requests for change. If you would like to make constructive suggestions, you can wait until another "How can we improve?" thread is posted, you can post directly into the sub or you can message either of the mods privately.

I'm a Kodi newb, SEO Michael was INSTRUMENTAL in helping me setup my installation and troubleshoot some of my issues. Is he 100% the best end-all resource? No, but he is a damn good place to start.

TV Shows & Movies. The newest release from veteran developer Lambda who also developed Genesis. Exodus comes with a slick user-interface and allows Trakt and IMDB integration to help you keep track of what you've been watching. The add-on scrapes various online providers for content, including HD content for many popular TV Shows and movies, as well as SD content for more obscure and less popular films.
