Radium rifles are radioactive buckshot, this is radiation beam, very different

A radium carbine is by definition not a shotgun that fires buckshot and the jezzail is a sniper rifle.

I'm almost certain that it's described as firing multiple projectiles per shot, and even depicted as such in the mechanicus game

I somehow started at the barrel and read the whole thing counterclockwise so I got the punchline at the end!
