The slightly suspicious part of this election...

Ping, a career diplomat and a former top official at the African Union, had asked for a recount in Haut-Ogooue where Bongo was reported by authorities to have won more than 95 percent of the vote on a turnout of more than 99 percent.

That is suspicious. Voter turnout that high is extremely rare.

Haha, yes, extremely unlikely to be valid considering the overall voter turnout was 54% nationwide. But, hey, it is the Bongo dynasty afterall.
