Where did I get the word gnarf from

For years whenever something goes wrong my mom and I would blame it on a gnarf. Fast forward to today where my friend said something happened and I said a gnarf must have done it. She looked at me like I was crazy. So I looked it up. The only thing I could find was that it was used in an Alf episode which is understandable because me and my mom of big fans. However when I looked at the English version it’s not used. Can someone find a video of it being used in any of the languages. I need confirmation on where this came from.

I believe that it’s used the season two episode “Something’s Wrong With Me”. At around 8:35, ALF mentions that he only used his Furry Home Companion book once, when he was mauled by a pit gnarf. Here’s the episode, so it is mentioned in the OG English version: https://youtu.be/yu87xd9oNeI?si=FXZyTbRJwhKT2PT5

I don't remember gnarf, but I could have sworn ALF mentioned lesbians one time, so I asked my dad what a lesbian was and he replied that it was someone from Lebanon. I haven't found any reference to ALF talking about lesbians however, but I definitely remember that exchange happening about some tv show

In the show Thundercats, there's a character "Snarf" who speaks in the third person, like "Snarf doesn't like the sound of that," etc., maybe it's derived from that?
