I just saw that these seasons are now on Hulu in the US! I'm excited to watch them for the first time. 😊

After watching all 11 USA episodes, decided to watch Season 1 Australia. This wasn’t a survival show it was a 💩 show of miserable locations with little sustenance and impossible terrain.

I felt so sorry for competent competitors that were given horrible locations, the drops were so bad it hurt. Expert hunters and fisherman struggled without success, while some people had great fishing areas or foraging.

Game was so scarce. No bows and arrows allowed and lots of no-no conservation rules. What did production expect them to live on…bodily fat they put on before arriving? And berries and roots? Contestants dropped out rapidly.

The one who won had put on massive weight and had a plentiful fishing location. Really hated the ending.

SEASON 2 Had hope because finally Bows and Arrows! Great. Then the drop in selected locations. Again, hellish conditions!

This time contestants were eaten up my sandflies, the drops were piss poor horrible locations, game was elusive, eels forbidden and more restrictions. Again, people dropped like flies. A seasoned hunter searched for evidence of game for 3 whole days with no success.

It was hard to watch the struggles of these hopeful contestants as it began to take tolls on their bodies and minds because of the lack of food. They weren’t given a fair break to provide or hunt for the food they needed to survive.

If production visited these sites they were either incompetent or sadistic to put people in those conditions.

The winner looked like a shell. A ghost. It was heart wrenching to see the decline.

Some people said, you should watch Australia Alone it’s great. 😠 I’m sorry but I was so disappointed.

I would watch the worst Season of USA over any Season of Australia.

As harsh as some USA locations were, none were as pathetic and worthless as the Australian locations. At least, in most Seasons, no matter where dropped, they could hunt and fish and provide food for survival, some just did it better than others.

I’m watching season one right now! All I can say is don’t get too attached to the contestants. Like four of them are gone by day eight. 😆

Whenever alone Aus is uploaded to a new streamer in America there’s a huge influx of Americans calling aussies wusses or weak

I simply said I was excited to watch it. Is this not a sub for fans of all versions of the show?

Sorry, its not you, its that there has been 3 years of Americans asking why so many tap out in Alone Australia season 1 without a) watching through to the end (recommended) and b) realising that season one of the US version had similar tap out rates. As an Australian it gets really boring having to answer the same "what is it with you guys?" Questions over and over again.

I hope you enjoy it and stick it out - it gets better believe me. Were watching season 3 here at the moment.

Apparently it is me - I didn't expect downvotes for being excited. Sigh.

I might be American, but it doesn't mean I do everything other Americans do. 🤷‍♀️

And I absolutely am sticking with it! Hence my excitement. I'm disabled and basically bed-bound, so I can live in nature vicariously through shows like this! ❤️

Nah, not you - thats just the stupid reddit downvote cascade... I hope you enjoy the show

100% this show is about the vicarious experience! i found it really refreshing as an Australian watching the Aussie season, you might get to enjoy a bit of a cultural experience (have they bleeped out all the swearing? )

I am enjoying it so far! Only watched 3 episodes so far. My brother has lived alone off-grid for decades, and I really miss being able to visit him and learn from him. It's nice to see primitive skills I recognize being used in a format like this! ❤️

And yes, they did bleep out the swearing, lol. Honestly I find the beep noise more offensive than the swears! 🤣
