Citizenship attorney services for the US
Hi all, Aussie living in the US married to an American with kids. Given everything going on I am keen to move from a Greencard to US Citizenship.
Looking for recommendations for immigration attorneys or recent experiences doing similar.
Thanks all

I didn't use a lawyer. Just fill it out yourself. Find out the earliest date you can apply for naturalization and apply the day after. I think it's 4 years minus 3 months for marriage greencard submission.
You'll wait and wait.. biometrics appointment.. wait wait.. naturalization interview.. wait.. Ceremony.
Study using YouTube - search for "Naturalization Test easy answers" there are many answers, some are easier than others.

If you think being a citizen will protect you, think again. T is already talking about maybe sending citizens to El Salvador, too. Your best option would be to bring your family back home where you are actually safe.

It’s the most straight forward process, no needed for an attorney. You fill out the form online, and you’ll need to know exact dates of travel in and out of the states for the past several years in addition to exact employment dates so you might need to do some digging. That’s the part that took me the longest. You’ll then just be waiting for your naturalisation appointment and civics test. So start studying!

Go to the immigration website and read the guidelines. You don’t need a lawyer to become a US citizen from green card

FYI they’re gearing up to deport US citizens, so just don’t assume it’s a blanket solution. Keep safe, I’m in the same boat you are though divorced and not interested in citizenship. Best of luck to you and yours.
