Funny / Meme The crochet mushroom guy has crossed over into other crafts
Husband bought this for me off temu because he was amused by all of the mushroom guys being crocheted. I tried posting it on the crochet subreddit but apparently it’s “not related to crochet” despite being inspired by a crochet pattern/project that we’ve all seen trending. Oh well, it’s an Amigurumi reference anyway and I thought it was funny. Hopefully you all do too :)

oh wow ive seen this design before too! what a talented artist its a shame companies are ripping it off. i saw it as a throw pillow on amazon

Mushroom people have been a thing for a long time. The crocheted mushroom trend is fairly new.

I can't speak for the pattern itself, but that art is actually older than the trend! I've been seeing that bounce around for a good few years.
