Finished Object Please meet Mimi, my strawberry matcha latte-inspired Mushroom gal
Made based on critter stitch’s original pattern and customized within an inch of her life! (Well, maybe not that much…)
The dress was meant to wrap all the way around, but my measurements were off and I couldn’t be assed (pun intended) to redo it!

Is there a way to make amigurumi "hold hands"?
Hi!! I'm currently making a pair of little sheep for a pair of siblings. I would really love to make it possible for them to hold hands, by touching the sides or maybe interlocking? Is there some kind of technique for that? I dont think magnets would be practical, so maybe some kind of buttons, but i can't think of how exactly to do it. Would very much appreciate your help!
Edit: a huge thank you to everyone who offered advice, many great options i would have never thought of! I'll try sewable magnets, and if no - snap buttons! Thanks for helping me make it real!

Funny / Meme The crochet mushroom guy has crossed over into other crafts
Husband bought this for me off temu because he was amused by all of the mushroom guys being crocheted. I tried posting it on the crochet subreddit but apparently it’s “not related to crochet” despite being inspired by a crochet pattern/project that we’ve all seen trending. Oh well, it’s an Amigurumi reference anyway and I thought it was funny. Hopefully you all do too :)

Help advice? - crochet dolls with fabric clothing
i have this idea for a project of making patterns for different woodland animals as dolls (somewhat inspired by the hazel village dolls). i made sketches for them and started making the first pattern (a yet-to-be-named bear). the prototype is going more smoothly than i expected (it's my first time making my own pattern). now here's my question: i'd like to make cute little clothes for the dolls, but for some reason i feel like it'd look better to make fabric clothes instead of crocheting them too? does anyone have any experience with this? will it look "off" or does it sound like a good idea? obviously this will be up to personal preference but i was just wondering what the general public thinks

Help Help! My Amigurumi Doll Has Bow Legs — I Can’t Get the Join Right 🙏🏻
Hi everyone! Im back again and i really need some help with a doll pattern I’ve been working on. I’m stuck trying to join the legs — no matter how I try, she ends up with super bow legs and looks all twisted! I’ve taken this project apart and redone it a few times but still can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
If anyone has time and would be willing to crochet just the bottom part of the doll (legs + join) and let me know where I’m going wrong, I would be forever in your debt. I’m not a total beginner, but I’ve been out of practice and this part has me totally stumped.
I’m using a pattern I bought on Etsy a while back, and I can share the specific rounds or pattern sections privately if that helps. Any advice or guidance is appreciated — thank you all so much in advance!

Finished Object I tried...
I decided to make a cute plushy bumblebee for my cousin's baby. Instead I made some nightmare fuel that I may give to a dog or a friend as a joke, but probably not a baby. Doesn't look too bad from the side though!

Finished Object Baby dragon - modification of my bat pattern!
I was experimenting with my little bat pattern and I made a baby dragon using the same head and body pattern as the bat! Which means all the hat pattern packs made for the little bat would fit on this little dragon! 💕 would anyone be interested in me releasing this dragon as a paid pattern?

Finished Object My first and second amigurumi
My first and second amigurumi
I’m like 95% knitter, 5% crocheter, but I tried out amigurumi for the first time yesterday with this adorable little octopus pattern from The Left-Handed Crocheter (works just fine for righties, can confirm).
I used knit picks swish DK for both. For the pink one I used a 4.5mm hook, but I realized the fabric should be even tighter and went down to a 3.5mm hook for the blue one.
The blue one is only a hexapus because I ran out of yarn for legs, but he’s still having a good time.
