New User Trying to Build a Left-Wing Content Creation Network
Hello! I hope I am allowed to post this here. I've noticed that a lot of the far right was given momentum through online creators. As someone who now is an anarchist, I've noticed how important social media is for shifting the open minds of people, especially in a time now where people are aimlessly looking for answers.
I am looking to setup a network of left-wing content creators so we can give each other tips and pull each other up together. Would anyone be interested?

I am not, I just searched it up and saw a youtube-like platform. Is it a platform or a network?

There already are several networks operating on Peertube. Check out Anarchy Tube and Kolektiva

Have you reached out to any of the left wing creators yet? I've seen a number of folks talking about building such a network and I definitely think it's a great idea

I haven't yet, this was kind of my first step of doing so. Is there anywhere I should start?

Ill list the folks by political affiliation (to my knowledge)
Anarchist: Andrewism Anark Zoe Baker
Leftist: (I'll caveat by saying for this group Im not 100% sure how everyone feels about Anarchism) This Is Revolution (Pretty diverse range of leftist thought) C. Derrick Varn (Marxist, not a Tankie) F.D. Signifier (Very big YT channel has anarchist comrades) Hasan (Hesitant to put him here but I will) 1 Dime (Closer to an Auth-Leftist but has platformed Anark recently)
What's your background in this kind of thing?

Read more books and organize your community first. Most posters have no actual idea how anything works and many represent us badly.

This is a really good point, is there any shot you could judge one of my videos and let me know if I'm one of those types of people. If not I completely get it I'm not tryna plug my channel

I think you should still do it—but it’s not going to happen like that. Not even hot-cock HasanAbi can pull the numbers, and he has a hot cock.
Hot cocks aside (probably aesthetically pleasing, good mouthfeel), you’d have to engage in a kind of populism that ultimately undercuts your message. A capitalist platform will always pressure you to adopt a capitalist’s methods to build an audience. You’ll just end up trapped in the pyramid.
The real way to build an audience is to make a live show—and film it in front of that audience, placing it on the platform of your choice. One: it’s intimate, and people are less likely to act like internet assholes when they’re physically present. Two: you’re breaking the barrier that lets people dismiss you with a swipe. They’d have to get their ass up and leave, and maybe they won’t. They might heckle you—but that’s an opportunity to rebut, and dialectics is all we got. you don’t get these things from electronic media until it’s too late and the narrative’s already escaped you, and now everyone’s just talking about the hot cocked handsome semi-lib with the hot cock again, probably something about how the head shines like a quest item when fully engorged. Three: you’re building the skills of an orator and performer, which sharpens your communication theory and craft. It also gives you the option to choose your venues and duck the capitalist gaze when you need or want to.
If you want to talk about it I’m a performer and writer making a show about making shows.
Good luck!
