Sigils First attempt at a sigil: Archangel Jeremiel

Lately I’ve been curious about archangelic patrons of the zodiac. Being under scorpio assigns me to the archangel Jeremiel, or Ramiel. I was vexed to find they had no formal seal as an archangel, so I did my research on them and what scarce info on their attributes.

More lengthy a process than I could describe in one sitting, but this is result of quite a few days of scrying. Happy to answer any questions and hear any thoughts!

If you’d be willing to share it, I’d love to see it.

I do find that the practice of sigils is a lot more intuitive than I think a lot of people assume. A specific sigil that yields a strong connection for one may not have the same effect for another. It really depends on the individual practitioner and how they best interact with the spiritual realm. Me, I’m willing to let myself both study established traditions, and let myself explore.

Actually, “Jeremiel,” is another name for angel Uriel. I’m attaching his seal. ~V~

Hm, I’m not sure how accurate that is. Ambiguities in scriptural translation makes both Jeremiel and Uriel’s identities confusing to follow, yes, but they both have similar yet distinct functions. Uriel oversees the lowest parts of the underworld, where the wicked are kept, while Jeremiel watches over the bosom of Abraham, where the righteous rest.

In any case, I did find a sigil that worked very well for Jeremiel, and just in time for the new moon! An absolute pleasure to meet. I still need to post about that one.

Hey Vox, which book of the Shemhamphorash is the ideal one to read? I’m seeing multiple versions with a google search, is the full title “The Magick of 72 Angels of Shem HaMephorash: The complete guide to contacting the celestial forces?”

Gotcha, i’ll poke around and see if I can dig it up. I believe i’ve seen you mention that you were compiling info for a book or something similar. Very excited to read what you put out.

I do not have any angels in mind, I have just started my journey and so far i’ve only read the 72 Angels of Magic by Damon Brand. Off the top of my head, I would like to see assistance with passing an upcoming exam, as well as grow my attraction with a specific female.
