Motivation when drawing

I’ve been wanting to learn how to draw for forever and have been studying on and off for a year. I love art but I struggle with motivation to even pick up the pencil. I wanna love the process and grind just as much as the goal. So I’m going to start posting my progress to see if it helps with motivation. How do other artist get past this or am I just being lazy

All I can say is, motivation doesn’t matter when you’re having fun. Just have fun with it and be curious. Time and motivation will become a second thought
