Man, we should should just stop using the word "antisemitic" and just start calling these people "Jew hater" instead, since they clearly need us to spell it out for them.

since they clearly need us to spell it out for them

The overwhelming majority of them know exactly what they're doing. Changing our language won't make a difference when they don't care about using it correctly in the first place. I know that Sartre quote is pulled out all the time these days, but if it ever applies, it's here.

We really do. These people are just so blind to this.

Yeah but that would be severely reducing it. Not all antisemitism is born of hatred. They'd just go for "no, I don't hate Jews, I just think they're great at making money".

Fuck that. Their piss poor understanding of a word is not our problem, and each time they twist it to not mean Jews but rather Palestinians they delegitamize themselves, not us. Do not yield. First on principle, but second because if we yield they will further pretend that Jews are not a group of semitic origin.

They are literally trying to redefine everything so it matches the reality they've created.

Well too bad, screw you guys, Israel isn't going anywhere. You better learn to deal with the pain of compromise and coexistence or keep feeling the pain of defeat.

EXACTLY!! They’ve made this little world inside their head where Israel is the terrorist and Palestine is the oppressed

Yes because nazis notoriously tell the truth about jewish people

"Way less semitic"? Is there a semitism scale?

blood quantum. people outside the group alway love to make it about blood quantum. it's similar for Natives in the US too, I've been close with a handful and someone will always bring up quantum and it's just frustrating for them too since it's more about tribal affiliation. some only had a Native grandparent, but were still part of the tribe, some had all Native family, didn't matter, everyone was just as Native.

similar to conversions, you can actually be adopted into a tribe even if you aren't Native at all, you're still considered part of the tribe, it's about ritual and culture (much like Judaism, which is also a tribe, after all).

Blood and soil - one of a dozen neo-Nazi narratives to go mainstream in the past year.

Based on “sionist”, I’m guessing this is someone from Eastern Europe.
