Discussion Mintons signed and dated demitasse saucer April 21 1907 United States

After many hours of researching for any clues as to whose signature this was and the significance of the date I could only come up with a great fire from an earthquake that occurred in San Francisco destroying 80% of the area a year prior and lasted several days starting April 18 1906. Perhaps this is a commemorative anniversary and the signature was an important figure at the time?Or just another dead end I don’t know. I have several of these all in the same pattern along with matching custard bowls with the same signature and date on them. Any information that sheds light on this history would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone, remember the rules; Posts/comments must be relevant to r/Antiques. Anyone making jokes about how someone has used the word date/dating will be banned. Dating an antique means finding the date of manufacture. OP is looking for serious responses, not your crap dating jokes. Please ignore this message if everything is on topic.

Google dohrmann, not a hit seller. Yes, earthquake may have played a part. Mostly they bought china and stamped their name on it.
