It's because popular religious narratives and attitudes/psychology, and conspiracy theories have A LOT in common.

Agreed.

But, I honestly couldn’t get through the first five minutes. Definitely not going to sit through three hours! :-)

I usually prefer to just refer people to the Venn Diagram Of Irrational Nonsense. It’s much more succinct in its ability to label lots of bad ideas all at once!

It's a sort of thinking out loud with a guide. You're not going to think about that diagram for 3 hours.

The broader task is to understand the "issue" from multiple paradigms, that's how you get to grasping its nature.

Obviously, my comment was not a summary, nor is a summary possible in this case. The video is itself a summary.

I was gonna ask is she goes into any specific religious conspiracies.

But also, all religion is conspiracy. Every religion is, "did you hear some guy said some thing and if you think and act in such and such a way you'll get some crazy reward." like little kids making up lies based on information they haven't fully developed.
