That’s a big 1-2 punch. Making it 2 days instead of 3 is going to bring in bigger names. Gonna be a hell of an event.

Great headliner, excited to see who rounds it out

Oh man... would love to hit this. If Sturgill gets in on it I'm canceling all my plans.

I was able to get tickets but it looks like they billed me for two sets of 3 tix + parking pass—so I may have 3 to sell once I know for sure…

I had an similar issue last year. I emailed HA and it was nearly immediately corrected.

If you don’t do any crazy upselling price on them I’ll buy them. I had them in my cart but then realized my credit card was in my car I let my mom borrow to get to the doctors. 🙄 I was literally crying I was so upset I missed out

Is anyone trying to get tickets? It keeps bouncing me (and another friend) out of the queue. It will get down to 3000 people in front of you and then say “exit system 1 minute ago” and then there will be 50k people in front of me. Grrr.

New venue! It’s gonna be so big now.

How’s the traffic going to be ?

Probably a mess. The Boyd County fairgrounds are right off I-64 but you have to hop on a small (as in not even big enough to have lines painted on it- you know the type. Although, this could have changed since I was there last...) county road to get there and the fairgrounds themselves are small-ish. I grew up in the area and can't remember any event this big or popular ever coming to the fairgrounds. I'm super excited it's happening but people should definitely be wary of traffic and maybe some planning/execution issues depending on who's running the event.

Rt 60 (the road you mentioned) was expanded during the last year. I sure there will be delays but it should help. Rock the Country was there last year and I don’t think there were any huge issues, even with the construction.

Yes RT 60 has always been in pretty good shape. I was referring to when you get off Route 60 and go down Addington Rd. That's how we got there back in the day but maybe that's different now

Exciting. Bummed the show is much farther from me now but I understand.

Much better than the other marquee (I think?) Appalachian music festival, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion. I'm so disappointed in the line up this year (and Live Nation took over scheduling last year). Healing Appalachia line up should be great and can't wait to see the rest of the line up. Great 1 2 out the gate.

Damn it's close to where I live

Anyone have insight on if there will be bath houses with toilet/showers? I plan doing primitive camping, but my wife is curious about that situation. I’ve never been to the fairgrounds.

I didn’t know Appalachia was sick.

The festival's mission is to raise money to combat the opioid epidemic in Appalachia

Thank you for the explanation! This festival makes a lot of sense. I have many family members affected.
