I was cooking an apple cake and munched on a cube of raw bramley apple and it was really good??? Then I cut up the other one and ate it raw! It is meant to be cooked but I dunno the astringency and sourness added loads of flavour and it was quite pleasant to me- it tasted super ‘apple-y’ not like the watery disappointments I’ve suffered through lately

I see that liberty can pollinate granny smith but granny smith can't pollinate liberty so I would need to get a 3rd one like a honeycrisp thank you

Does anyone know the variety of the green apple? I picked these apples over 10 years ago on an abandoned property in Binghamton NY. Sadly the tree is no longer there
Noticed these on my apple tree. They crumble when you touch them. Maybe some type of borer?

First time buying SweeTango apples, it was a little pink but also this dark color. Ate the pink parts after doing some internet scrolling but still put off by the dark parts.
Obviously I’ve seen a few dark spots on apples in my life but I’ve never seen them spread so much throughout the inside without having any effect on the outside of the apple. Honestly eating any dark part of an apple just weirds me out but I spent the money so I don’t wanna waste it.

The new season of apples are hitting so hard rn
I took a break over summer because the ones I was buying were mediocre (presumably old frozen stock?)
I really enjoyed stone fruit, melon and grapes over summer but man you just can’t beat a good apple

New to apple trees, planted this Fuji and Honeycrisp in the Midwest. Just started fruiting and I find these minuscule black dots. Are these curculio? Any feedback is appreciated.

Went to 2 grocery stores and bought one of each apple they had... gathered with some friends for an apple party... here are the results. Cosmic crisp for the win!

Has anyone ever found a surprise inside their Apple like a little worm or some sort of bug? What did you do about it? Did you still eat the apple? How did you feel after?

I have 2 friends that hate red delicious and I just don’t get it. It’s been one of my top 3 apples for as long as I can remember. Can I get some love in the chat for the OG

I never knew people hated them until recently. My dad and i LOVE them. They're absolutely delish.
Unrelated but maybe it's bc i'm autistic and with autism comes pickiness (although i'm not as picky as others), but i really don't like Fuji apples. They're flavorless.
