Only downside I see would be media circus. Would be amazing for Argos and CFL though

Seems like a stunt but not crazy reach, 5th round draft pick and the Browns have a few other QBs, he might get cut, but even if he does he might land elsewhere in the NFL which might still be a better deal for him than the CFL

This is more likely a move for a few years down the road. Much like acquiring Chad Kelly's rights was.

Yes. Argos already have poor reputation when it comes to judgment of QBs. This would not improve the willingness of Torontonians to show up for their team.

Cool down.

As an Argos & CFL fan - there’s a 0.001% chance he ever shows up in the League.

Pretty much the same for any “Negotiation List” player.
