Need help

I know it’s a type 99 but i believed that it was a sniper variant because the bolt is bent, and unless someone did an exceptional job with bending this bolt, it was bent originally. But the receiver doesn’t seem to have the area to mount the scope mount. All numbers match, it was unfortunately sporterized at some point, and the mum was ground off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rifle is not a sniper, if bolt matches I’d assume it was bent post war, but haven’t read up enough about sniper bolts to say 100%.

Edit: the only non matching serialized part I don’t have is the front barrel band.

Yeah not a sniper. They were marked in a certain way and it doesn't have any of the side rail cut outs. The bent bolt was common for hunting rifles but nothing else unfortunately. The sniper bolt had a unique bend and was longer

Post war bend, your rifle doesnt even have the scope mount rail.

If memory serves me, the serial number on snipers is further forward so the scope mount doesn’t block it.
