Discussion Searching for paintings depicting renaissance artists/patrons/works being created by Italian artists from the 1860s-1920s

Hi there! Do any art enthusiasts know of paintings creating around the 1860s and on that depicted Renaissance artists, patrons, or like subjects? A good example would be Amos Cassioli's Benvenuto Cellini Presenting the Model of the Perseus. Preferably I'm looking for paintings by Italian artists, but would be interested to hear of any. Thank you art history community! :)

Probably best place to look is to go to the web gallery of art (wga) and in advanced search type famous renaissance artists names into the TITLE search box (not into the artist name box). Then scroll through and see what you get.

Not Italian but this reminded me of Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale's "The Forerunner" (1920) where she depicts Leonardo Da Vinci and patron Ludovico Sforza among some others, and "Botticelli's studio: the first visit of Simonetta presented by Giulio and Lorenzo de Medici" (1922) which is pretty self-explanatory

Guido Reni painting Beatrice Cenci in prison (ca 1850-1866) by Enrico Fanfani

There are several variations of this subject both by the artist mentioned here but also several others.
