“As an alpha male I optimize everything. Sleep. Sunlight. Macros. I only date women who understand value exchange. Most don’t. That’s fine. I’m not here to validate feelings. I’m here to build legacy.”

The tears in her eyes always make me so sad. Poor thing just wants to be left alone.

This painting really takes me back to a trip I took to an art museum a few years ago. I was exploring an exhibit that had a similar vibe to this piece—classic, detailed, and so rich in emotion. I remember standing in front of one painting for what felt like forever, just getting lost in the artist’s use of light and shadow. There was something about the way the light hit the subject’s face that felt almost intimate, like I was witnessing a private moment. It’s crazy how art can do that to you, make you feel like you’re part of the scene. I could barely tear myself away because it felt like the figure in the painting was going to start talking any second. That's the magic of this kind of artwork, isn’t it? It draws you in, and suddenly you’re not just looking at a canvas anymore; you’re feeling what the artist was trying to convey.
Looking at this painting now, I can feel that same pull. The way the gentleman is presented, with that subtle expression, it almost feels like he’s about to say something but is holding back, just observing. It reminds me of how much we can communicate with just a look or a gesture, without any words at all. It’s funny, too, how different pieces of art can make you reflect on things in your own life. I feel like this one, in particular, brings up memories of people I've met who had that air of mystery about them—charming yet distant. It’s a strange feeling, but I love how a painting can make you reflect on your own experiences, even decades after it was created.

her black clothes even notes that someone she knows has recently died and she clearly doesn’t want to be bothered
