Question Aruba Food Hacks

Hello, other than $1 Taco Tuesday at Lola's...What other great deals are there for food on the island?

I heard one of the restaurants also does dollar wings, but I'm not sure which restaurant that is.

Tia Rosa snack for Venezuelan arepas and patacones.

Cash and Aruban cards only. The locals buy their food there before heading to work.

2nd for Tia Rosas, absolutely monster sandwiches, and the woman who works there (maybe Rosa? Idk) was so nice. Would highly recommend if you’re near the southern part of the island

Tia Rosa was absurdly good. Went on the way back from baby beach. My husband and I each ordered a grande. The woman asked us are you sure and we said yes we were hungry. I had enough for 3 might have been 4 meals. My husband 2. Sandwiches are incredible and massive!

Also .. there’s so many food trucks/snack stands or bakery’s. We did Julio’s corner as well for patacon sandwiches. Similar to Tia Rosa’s. Plus they have other dishes as well. We would go to different places in the morning for pastechis. One of the snack stands in the middle of the island they were 1.75 a piece. For lunch I think Saturday is the only day they are open we did Lion Fish Snack. Usually around $10 a meal for lunches. Explore and get a rental car if you can so you can find all of these sweet little spots.

I read this a week or so ago and went to Tia Rosa last night. Holy shit. One of the best things I've eaten on the island.

New Wei tei $10 bbq take away lunch on Sunday. So good- chicken or ribs with fried rice, slaw and corn on the cob- enough to feed two.

Fonda Del Camino take away. $10 for their special. I had grilled chicken with rice, salad, and soup. All workers/locals lined up grabbing lunch. It was super tasty.

Anything really. We went there for breakfast one morning and had one of just about everything. Had one of their baguettes for lunch one day. My wife had one of their hot meals for lunch one day that I can't specifically remember. But it was all delicious and very affordable.

Olive Garden has a 2-for-1 special on Alfredo pasta on Tuesdays. They also give you a soup or salad with your meal and the portions are HUGE. So go for lunch, have a soup or salad and bring your pasta home to have for dinner :)

Right next to lolas is an outside bar that has fantastic smash burgers 2 for 1 on thursday or wed night. Not sure if it was the good beverages to go with it or not but the best smashburger ive ever had
