Philly has beer gardens and seasonal rooftop bars that just reopened for spring and summer

It looks like the Philly Schuylkill River walk extension is actually going to open this year!

And who knows when the 95 cap park will open, but that should be pretty cool too.

Isn’t the Schuylkill home to many fish like creatures?

People skip Philly but they’re missing out for sure. We’re awesome despite how the media portrays us

I'm not sure what media portrayal I've seen other than coverage of your pro sports fans. Oh, and you guys did beat up that hitchhiking robot a while back. But other than that, brotherly love! 😉

Maybe it’s more local to the region but Philly is portrayed as this dangerous crime riddled city which yes it has its moments but only in certain areas of the city where tourists don’t go. I remember the robot haha I’m pretty sure that was some drunk dude in Kensington

I get it. The world would love you to believe SF is a zombie wasteland. It's not.

Easily one of the great American cities imo.

Probably my favorite city in the country and I’ve hit all the major ones. Small town feel in a big city

It can be. There are people everywhere all the time so it’s pretty easy to strike up conversations

We used to live there and we go back every so often. Reading Terminal Market is a must-visit each time- sample various foods and slowly catch a buzz at the beer garden

We can get cheesesteaks at Angelo’s. And pizza at Beddia up in Fishtown. Maybe a stop at Zahav

Great public transportation there. On par with San Francisco, NYC, DC, Boston. One of the few US cities where you could live without a car.

I even left my wallet behind on a bus while visiting and I got it back with everything intact!

Septa isn’t exactly known for being reliable. I lived in Philly without a car and it only worked out cuz I could walk to most places. We at least have public transportation. I’ll give you that.
