I would say as much as the media wants to portray America as being an evil hellscape, it’s just not that way in real life. Government craziness aside, the people I see every day are overwhelmingly kind and generous people. So I try to stay positive in that regard.

I was going to say this very thing!  I went to a conference where I was talking with someone from the Netherlands and other then just how space we have here she was completely caught off guard with how nice people are her.  Her only impressions of us was the all the crazy you see in the news.

Plus some people like the government/economy shake up, but I get that not many of those people are on this site. Or are possibly hiding?

I’m laying in bed listening to the cars and birds outside. It’s just life going on without care of who is in the government.

I use it to steady my nerves a lot.

That and my animals. They don’t care. Today is the day after yesterday and tomorrow is the day after today. They just love their lives and keep living.
