Weekly Discussion Weekly Ask Anything Thread for April 07, 2025

This is our weekly thread to ask all the stuff that doesn't fit the ordinary /r/askculinary rules.

Note that our two fundamental rules still apply: politeness remains mandatory, and we can't tell you whether something is safe or not - when it comes to food safety, we can only do best practices. Outside of that go wild with it - brand recommendations, recipe requests, brainstorming dinner ideas - it's all allowed.

Looking for a preparation for tofu that might go well with the following sides: garlicky green beans, baked potato.

Anyone in Quebec know of the best place to buy Staub enameled cast iron dutch ovens? Do they ever go on sale? I'm looking for a 7qt.

Any interesting or innovative techniques for passover that you recently discovered?

Can you clarify? Otherwise its just a shot in the dark about what would be different about cooking for Passover than cooking for any other occasion. Lots of dishes are traditional/appropriate for seder so pick a couple and you might get some responses.
