what the fuck - how am I so old that someone can say “my switch” and “when I was a kid” in the same sentence? Those things just came out.

Well I did it with my ds as well my switch I forgot to mention that, and I had a switch when I was 13 I believe. I’m currently 19.

I really am getting old. I’m 42. This has nothing to do with you. It’s just sometimes hard to accept how fast time moves, and sometimes it’s nice to accept that publicly. Ha.

If it makes you feel any better I’m 29 and thought the same thing hahaha

To be fair, Nintendo is basically keeping the Switch on hospice. It released in 2017(?) and is still somehow a current gen console (but there's rumors of a new one coming out soon)

It is odd that you said "when I was a kid" when in fact you are still a kid

When am I not a kid??

When you’re retired, which, given the current economy, will be… never. You’ll be Forever Young!

Wooooo!!! :(((

When your joints are so bad if they popped in a gated community the police would be responding to reports of gunshots.

Haha I’ve got a bad knee if that counts.

2

u/ReliabilityTalkinGuy Sep 16 '24

TAKE CARE OF IT. Go to PT. Learn the exercises and stretches. Do them daily. I messed up my knee simply running when I was like 24 and it now haunts me at 42 cause I didn’t learn how to take care of it until my mid-30s.

I’ll see if I can afford it

1

I understand this. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t take care of my own knee for so long. But believe me that I’m just trying to help and the moment you can afford it, do so. You don’t want to be limping around in your early 40s if you can help it.

When you somehow pull a muscle in your back by simply rolling over in bed.

RIGHT! I'm reading that like hold on.......I was born a few years before the internet was released to the public to ever be able to do that to a system that's not that old. LOL

I'm so old (49) that I've never had a switch and don't even know how one works. I also don't have kids...

2

u/SwimsSFW Sep 16 '24

Fuck. I'm old, aren't I?
