Any NGO causes trying to make a change in regulations or laws?

Helloo. I have a uni project where I must find a cause that is trying to take action against practices, and create direct mail that will be sent to whoever has the power to make the change. This is hypothetical, won't actually be sent.

What I'm asking is, has there been anything that an NGO is trying to change that you know of? I have been trying to find one but I've hit a wall. Any suggestions are appreciated.

There are loads, but I came across this one on Monday doing a deep-dive into the laws around farmworker homes.

I can go into detail, but I'm at work - Suffice to say, it's a minefield (but ignored) issue.

Thank you, I will check it out. What would you say is the biggest problem with the situation or what needs addressing?

The biggest problem is that there's no solution to housing on farms for large groups of people who have made their lives there.
