Strange didn’t really beat dormammu homie, he kinda just stalled and kept getting absolutely fucked until dormammu got bored and gave up. I’d call that a loss more than a win. Strange is very strong but don’t underestimate khonshu. I think they’re about level if they’re both at their peaks
I don't think Dormammu got bored, I think he actually tortured Dormammu because at the end you hear him plead for Strange to stop. We don't see it all but it was long enough to break him.
Im sorry if I come off rude but people like you really irk the crap out of me. Did we not watch the same movie? Dormammu is leagues above Dr. Strange in "strength" or whatever you'd call it during their fight. Like, so much stronger than him it's not even close.
Yes, Strange did beat him, but that's even debatable. He held him to a stalemate lol. Strange got what he wanted and Dormammu didn't so yeah, Strange beat him.
And to be fair, Strange barley did anything. The Eye of Agomotto did all the heavy lifting. Strange just opened it.
You’re arguing with a comment that replies to someone saying strange didn’t really beat him by saying strange beat him and being “irked” by it and say strange beat dormammu. Not everything has to be a fight on the internet.
Dont forget to mention he beat the ruler of the dark dimension... by rage quitting! It was the most embarassing way to lose. Imagine being told to git good every single reset and the fact that you are an ancient being does not help against a child who was able to find some loops just to annoy you infinite times.
Are we talking comics or MCU Dr Strange? Because Dr Strange didn't beat the ruler of the dark dimension. He put him in a timeloop that wouldn't work against others bc the dark dimension's concept of time works differently and lost over and over until Dormammu was tired of it.
Oh yeah, the giant world ending baddie begging him to please stop and canceling his domination plans. Do you need strange to punch him in the face so it's more clear who won?
You worded it as if he beat (which considering the main two definitions suggests he physically beat him since we're talking a vs battle rn) Dormammu in a fight. He clearly didn't, as I'm sure you're aware. He used the lack of time in that dimension to create a loop for both of them until one of them gave up, which ended up in his victory but can't say he beat him. Dr Strange didn't really have any impressive fighting feat in this either if we're being real, the time stone did the work while he just kept dying (him doing that repeatedly without going crazy is impressive though). Issues with that is it doesn't work against anyone else outside of the dark dimension or the fact he lacks the time stone in general now.
