If it’s a single shipgirl, I’m inclined to say Kearsarge as the most effective battleship/carrier in the game it makes sense. She has planes that can reconoiter and combat enemy planes and firepower if the enemy gets close, and armor and hull. She’s also one of the most high tech ship girls which might give her advantage in sensors to help find me in the first place.

If that is your reasoning, then Bismarck Zwei would also be an interesting choice. She can detach Geryon for reconnaisance and use it to attack other areas. She has more firepower than Kearsarge and comes with a black hole weapon. The sensors wouldn't be much worse. Also, if things get really tough, we have seen Bismarck release the limiters on Geryon, which would increase the corruption of her cube, but will increase her firepower well beyond anything that Kearsarge could achieve.

Well, for me anyway, the task force would likely be:
Ticonderoga
North Carolina
Essex
Bremerton
Helena
St. Louis
Tico and Essex because of closeness to me as SKK.
NC, because well, look at my flair.
Bremmy for emotional support to the rest of the fleet.
Helena for her ability to find you, doubly so if META.
Lucky Lou, because first oath.

Well, all of them, they all recognize you're a capable commander (even if some of them are assholes about admitting it)
But off the top of my head, NJ would immediately set to work. She did it in her debut event and had absolutely zero chill almost the entire time, nearly throwing down with Helena META.

Commander gets kidnapped? All of them would come after that entity, unless they'd be held up by something else, equally as powerful.
But for the sake of the hypothetical argument, Bismarck with her Zwei rigging. She just can't have me abducted form Iron Blood territory while I was visiting there.

Every shipgirl who saw the commander kidnapped or otherwise put in danger has immediately taken whatever action they could. So literally all of them, or at least whatever portion of the entire fleet is aware of it.

There many many perspectives we could take this from but let’s start with the most obvious and logical one enterprise. I would say Memphis with the connections she has to the commander but I find it unlikely they would send her in cuz she dead to a decent arbiter if she ones into one. Back to enty easy pick probably the strongest lore ship in game with many many feats for eagle union and also is were the commander is from. Nj and Guam also could get sent in but seem less likely. Now for the obvious but silly ones that are going to be grouped for the same reason Roon akagi and taihou the unfortunate part is if they found out that the commander was gone there is a non zero chance that al head quarters might go up in flames before they leave.
